Before you start
- Make sure your PADS4 Server is already installed, licensed, and correctly configured.
- Verify that the TD‑1070 is powered on and connected to the network
Supported devices
The following Qbic TD‑1070 models are supported:- TD‑1070 (Android 12)
- TD‑1070 (Android 14)
Minimum requirements
- PADS4 Server version: 2023.3 or later
- Firmware version: V2.12.2 (Android 12) or V3.14.1 (Android 14)
Performing a Factory Reset
A factory reset erases all apps, settings, and locally stored data on the TD‑1070.- Open Settings and select Reset Options
- Select Erase all data (Factory Reset)
- Click on Erase all data to confirm the factory reset
Installing PADS4 Viewer
Download the installation package
- Download the latest PADS4Qbic.apk installation package from https://github.com/PADS4/PADS4-Viewer-Qbic/releases/latest
- Copy the APK file to a USB stick
- Insert the USB stick into the TD-1070 device
Installing the PADS4 viewer
- Open Android Settings → Player Settings on the TD-1070.
- Enable Switch to Native Android Mode.
- Close Settings to return to the Android Home Screen.
- Open the Files app from the app drawer.
- Navigate to the USB Drive, select PADS4Qbic.apk, and tap to open it.
- When the warning appears, tap Settings and enable Install unknown apps for the Files app.
- On the Install PADS4Qbic screen, tap Install.
- When installation finishes, tap Done.
- Go back to Settings → Player Settings and turn Switch to Native Android Mode OFF.
- Tap Home.
- Search for and launch PADS4Qbic from the search option.
- PADS4 Viewer starts—configure the server address and viewer name.
- Grant any required permissions when prompted.
