This manual provides step-by-step instructions for configuring the Giada DN76 device and installing the PADS4 Viewer. It covers initial setup, APK installation, autostart configuration, and viewer setup. Compatible Devices:
  • DN76V1 (Android 14)
Minimum requirements PADS4 Version Required: 2025.1

Prerequisites

Download the latest PADS4WebLauncher.apk from your PADS4 server (e.g., https://[your-server]/[domain]/apps) or from here, and copy it to a USB stick. Ensure the PADS4 Server is set up and accessible.

Installing PADS4 Viewer

  1. Power on the screen and access the installed applications menu.
  2. Insert the USB stick into the screen.
  3. Select FileBrowser.
  4. Navigate to the USB drive and select PADS4WebLauncher.apk.
  5. Click Continue on the warning prompt.
  6. Click Install and wait for completion.
  7. Select Done, then close FileBrowser

Enabling Auto-Start

  1. Go to Settings on the screen.
  2. Navigate to Apps.
  3. Select the PADS4 Web Launcher.
  4. Select Home app and select PADS4 Web Launcher.
  5. The PADS4 viewer will start.

Configuring Connection

  1. Launch the PADS4 Web Launcher.
  2. Enter the Server URL in the format <protocol>://<host>:<port>/<hostpath>/
  3. Fill in the ViewerName as required.
  4. Click Start to connect.
The PADS4 viewer is now connected and ready for use.
