Installing PADS4 Viewer on ProDVX IPPC-Series (Windows)
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring PADS4 Viewer on ProDVX IPPC-Series computers running Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Before You Start
Supported ProDVX IPPC-Series Devices
The following ProDVX IPPC-Series computers are supported:
- IPPC-10SLB (R24-6701)
- IPPC-15-6000 (R22-6000)
- IPPC-22-6000 (R22-6000)
- IPPC-22-6200 (R22-6000)
- IPPC-24-6000 (R24-6000)
- IPPC-32-6000 (R24-6000)
- IPPC-10SLB (Intel Atom x5-Z8350)
Minimum Requirements
PADS4 Server Version
Ensure that your PADS4 Server is running PADS4 version 2024.1 or later.
Windows Version
Your ProDVX IPPC-Series computer must be running:
Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11 (64-bit)
Installing PADS4 Viewer
Follow these steps to install PADS4 Viewer on your ProDVX IPPC-Series device.
Step 1: Download the PADS4 Installer

Step 2: Install PADS4 Viewer
Installation Steps
Step One
Download the PADS4 Windows Installer from the PADS4 Server or the official link provided.
Step Two
Open the installer (.exe) file.
Step Three
Follow the on-screen instructions in the PADS4 Setup Wizard.
Step Four
Choose the installation directory (default is C:\Program Files\PADS4
).
Step Five
Click Install and wait for the process to complete.
Step Six
Once installation is complete, click Finish.
Configuring PADS4 Viewer
Step 1: Set PADS4 Viewer to Start Automatically
To ensure PADS4 Viewer starts automatically on boot:

Open Windows Settings → Apps.
Step Two
Navigate to Startup Apps.
Step Three
Find PADS4 Viewer and toggle it ON.
Step 2: Connect to the PADS4 Server

Steps to Connect to PADS4 Server
Step One
Launch PADS4 Viewer on your ProDVX device.
Step Two
Enter the PADS4 Server Address.
Step Three
(Optional) Enter a custom Viewer Name.
Step Four
Press Start to connect.
Step Five
If required, allow PADS4 Viewer to access the network and system settings.
Finalizing PADS4 Viewer Setup
Once connected, configure PADS4 Viewer settings using the PADS4 CTRL Center:
- ✅ Enable automatic updates
- ✅ Configure network settings
- ✅ Adjust screen resolution and orientation
- ✅ Block remote control access (if required)

Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with PADS4 Viewer installation or connection, ensure:
✔ PADS4 Server is running and reachable
✔ Network connection is active
✔ Windows firewall is not blocking PADS4
✔ Correct PADS4 Server URL is entered
