Connecting a Bluefox Digital Signage content feed
The Bluefox Digital Signage Content Feed provider allows real-time content integration with Bluefox, a company specializing in digital signage feeds.
Steps to Connect a Bluefox Content Feed
1. Start the Data Provider Wizard
- Follow the steps in Adding a Data Provider or Editing a Data Provider.
- Select Bluefox as the provider type.
2. Configure Bluefox Connection Settings
- Enter the Bluefox Feed URL to be used.
- Click Preview to view the feed output as a data table.
3. Retrieve the Feed from Your Bluefox Account
- Click Open Bluefox Content Selector to open the Bluefox website.
- On the feeds page, select the feed type and size.
- Copy the feed URL and paste it into the Bluefox feed field in PADS4.
4. (Optional) Configure a Proxy Server
- If a proxy is required, enter the proxy details.
5. Complete the Wizard
- Click Next to continue.
- Finish the wizard as described in Adding a Data Provider.
Important Considerations

If Using PADS4 Data Server:
- Ensure the Bluefox feed is accessible from the PADS4 Data Server’s network.
- The Data Server will retrieve the feed and distribute it to all connected PADS4 Viewers.

If Not Using PADS4 Data Server:
- Ensure that each PADS4 Viewer and PADS4 Designer has direct access to the Bluefox feed.
Troubleshooting

The feed is not loading?
- Check the feed URL for accuracy.
- Ensure your internet connection is active.
- If using a proxy, verify the proxy settings.

Preview shows no data?
- Make sure the feed is active in your Bluefox account.
- Try refreshing the feed URL on the Bluefox website.
Once set up, the Bluefox content feed will automatically update, ensuring dynamic and engaging content for your digital signage display.
