Steps to Add/Modify a Genesys Connection in PADS4

1. Start the Data Provider Wizard

  • Open the Data Provider Wizard using the steps in Adding a Data Provider or Editing a Data Provider.
  • Select Genesys as the provider type.

2. Configure the Genesys Connection

  • Enter the Genesys Server URL (e.g., https://yourgenesysserver.com/wsdl).
  • Authentication (if required):
    • Enter the username and password if the Genesys web service requires login credentials.
  • Proxy Settings (if needed):
    • Configure a proxy server if your network setup requires it.

Click Next to proceed.


3. Configure Genesys Service Settings

  • Review service settings based on your Genesys documentation.
  • Select the relevant data endpoints to retrieve information.

Click Next to continue.


4. Complete the Wizard

  • Click Finish to finalize the Genesys connection.
  • The PADS4 Viewer will now retrieve real-time data from the Genesys web service.

  • Ensure Correct Authentication:
    • If credentials are required, make sure you have the correct access rights for the Genesys API.
  • PADS4 Data Server Access:
    • If using a PADS4 Data Server, the Genesys service must be accessible from the server’s location.
