The Schedules feature in PADS4 allows you to schedule presentations for specific Viewers or Viewer groups. Schedules can be one-time (ad hoc) or recurring, giving you full control over content delivery.

Viewing Schedules

  • Multiple Views – Choose between a table-style list or a graphical timeline.
  • Flexible Time Periods – View schedules by day, week, workweek, month, or timeline.
  • Filter Options – Search for specific presentations assigned to a selected Viewer.

Online /Offline Viewers

  • A green dot next to a Viewer’s name indicates it is online.
  • A red dot means the Viewer is offline.

Compare Viewers’ Schedules

  • You can switch to multi-Viewer selection to compare schedules for different Viewers side by side.

Scheduling a New PADS4 Presentation

Follow these steps to schedule a new PADS4 presentation:

1️⃣ Click theNew button on the Schedules page.
2️⃣ Select one or more presentations from your PADS4 Content by clicking .

  • A file browser will open to display available content.
  • If needed, upload a presentation from your local PC.
  • Tip: Double-click a presentation to preview it before scheduling.
    3️⃣ Name the schedule – By default, the presentation name is used, but you can edit it.
    4️⃣ Assign Viewers or Viewer Groups – Choose which Viewers should display this presentation.
    5️⃣ Set Schedule Priority (Optional)
  • Higher priority schedules override lower priority ones.
  • Priorities can be managed using the Windows PADS4 Scheduler application.
    6️⃣ Specify the Display Period
  • Define the start and end date/time for the schedule.
  • Click Edit Recurrence to set daily, weekly, or custom recurrence rules.
    7️⃣ Click the “Schedule” button to finalize the scheduling.
