Teleworking, also called remote work, means that you work from home or another location outside the office. In PADS4 Workspace, you declare your remote work days in your calendar. Your colleagues and your organization can then see where people work.

How teleworking works

  • Your administrator turns on remote work. If you do not see the remote work tool, ask your administrator.
  • Your administrator can give you an allowance of remote work days per year. PADS4 Workspace shows how many days you have left when you declare remote work.
  • You declare remote work for one day or for a range of days. PADS4 Workspace counts half-days.
  • A remote work declaration appears in blue in your calendar.
The settings in the admin interface use the term Teleworking. In this manual, remote work and teleworking mean the same.
