How PADS4 Workspace works
Workspace has an administrator side and a user side.
PADS4 Workspace connects to external systems for calendars, user accounts, and room hardware:
- Calendars: Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange Server, Google Calendar, and iPorta.
- Sign-in: Single sign-on (SSO).
- Occupancy sensors and LEDs: Show whether a room or workspace is free or booked.
What you can do with PADS4 Workspace
- Book spaces: Reserve meeting rooms, desks, common areas, and group workspaces.
- Find the right space: Filter by capacity, location, equipment, and services, or browse an interactive floor plan.
- Add services: Request additional services, such as catering, with a booking.
- Prevent unused bookings: Use check-in and occupancy sensors to release rooms that nobody uses. Workspace reports these unused bookings as ghost meetings.
- Keep rooms reliable: Users report defective equipment, and administrators mark it as repaired.
- Approve bookings: Require approval for selected rooms, or let a manager assign a room to a booking request.
- Manage remote work and absence: Users declare remote work days and report absence in the Workspace web application.
- Analyze usage: Review occupancy and booking statistics, and export them to PDF or Microsoft Excel.
