If your presentation contains a master page but it’s no longer used by any of the pages, it is recommended to remove it to keep the presentation organized.

To Remove the Existing Master Page from Your Presentation

  1. Switch to the Master Page:
    • Go to the View menu and select Master Page.
  2. Remove the Master Page:
    • Go to the Page menu and click Remove Page.
    • Confirm the removal by clicking Yes when prompted.

Alternative Method

  • Right-click the thumbnail of the master page in the Thumbnails window.
  • Select Remove Master Page from the context menu.
  • Confirm the removal by clicking Yes when prompted.
