You can use Sigfox sensors to automatically book a room when they detect people in the meeting room. This article explains how to connect these sensors to PADS4 so they can be used with meeting rooms. The Sigfox sensors and credentials are provided and managed by NDS and are ready to use out of the box. Follow these steps to add the sensors to PADS4:
  1. Enable the module and fill in the information. NDS provides the login credentials.

  2. Navigate to PADS4 Workspace Admin
  3. Navigate to Occupancy Sensors
  4. The Sigfox occupancy sensor will be listed here and will allow you to change the name of the sensor and assign it to a meeting room. Note that it can take a few minutes for the sensors to show up.

Remarks:
  • Enable occupancy sensors for the room profile that the meeting room is a member of. You can configure this in the Room Profiles section of PADS4 Workspace Admin.
