Footer properties
The footer properties define the bottommost section of a table element, often used for special remarks, timestamps, or summary data.
Footer Settings
Show Footer
- Enable or disable the footer’s visibility.
Edit Footer Content
To customize the footer:
- Click Edit to open the Edit Footer window.
- Add page elements and adjust properties as needed.
- In the File menu, click Close.
- Click Yes to confirm changes.
- Click OK or Apply in the table properties window to finalize.
Automatic Shrink/Grow
- If enabled, the footer height adjusts based on its content size.
Best Practices & Remarks
- Full Design Control: When editing the footer, you can add any page elements (except other table elements).
- Dynamic Display: Use data providers to show real-time content.
- Automatic Shrink/Grow Functionality:
- Adjusts footer height based on the bottommost element.
- If an element resizes or becomes invisible, the system recalculates the footer height.
- If all footer elements disappear, the footer is hidden, freeing space for the table rows.
