These properties control the direction and speed of the scrolling text, allowing customization for smooth and dynamic movement.

Scroll Direction & Speed

Direction

Select the desired scroll direction from the available options:
  • Left to Right
  • Right to Left (default for ticker-style scrolling)
  • Top to Bottom
  • Bottom to Top
  • No Scroll (displays static text without movement)

Speed

  • Adjust the speed of scrolling by using the slider or manually entering a value (milliseconds per pixel).
  • A lower speed value results in faster scrolling.

Remarks

  • Hardware Performance: The smoothness of scrolling depends on the PC’s hardware and background processes. Lowering the speed can improve performance, but perfectly smooth scrolling is not always guaranteed.
  • Alignment Adjustments:
    • When scrolling left to right or right to left, horizontal alignment is ignored.
    • When scrolling top to bottom or bottom to top, vertical alignment is ignored.
  • Static Display: If No Scroll is selected, the text remains stationary instead of scrolling.
