54 and 60 Series
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring PADS4 Viewer on the Iiyama 54 & 60 Series devices.
1. First-Time Use
Before installation, ensure that the PADS4 Server is set up and configured properly.
When you turn on the device for the first time, the Configuration Wizard should start automatically. If it does not, please factory reset the device following the instructions in 1.2 Resetting the Device.
1.1 Configuring the Device
Step One
On the Welcome Screen, select your preferred language and click Start.
Step Two
On the Security Setting Screen, ensure that SICP Network Port is enabled.
Step Three
On the Network Setting Screen, select your preferred network type and configure it.
Step Four
On the Signage Display Settings Screen, click Skip.
Step Five
On the Clone Media Files Screen, click Skip.
Step Six
On the Setup Complete Screen, click Finish.
1.2 Resetting the Device
If the device was used previously, perform a factory reset to clear storage and prevent software conflicts.
Step One
Enter the Android Menu by pressing the Home button, followed by 1 8 6 6 on the remote control.
Step Two
Open Settings.
Step Three
Select System Tools → Factory Reset.
Step Four
Click on Factory Reset and confirm by pressing OK.
After resetting, the Welcome Screen will appear. Follow the steps in 1.1 Configuring the Device.
2. Installing PADS4 Viewer
To install the PADS4 Viewer, enter the Android Menu by pressing Home followed by 1 8 6 6 on the Iiyama remote control.
2.1 Checking Device Firmware
Ensure the correct firmware version is installed for full PADS4 Viewer functionality.
Step One
Enter the Android Menu by pressing Home 1 8 6 6.
Step Two
Open Settings.
Step Three
Select About.
Step Four
Verify the firmware version:
- 60 Series:

2.2 Updating Device Firmware
To obtain the correct firmware, contact Iiyama Support.
Firmware Update Steps
Step One
Format a USB flash drive in FAT32.
Step Two
Download the firmware file provided by Iiyama Support and extract it.
Step Three
Copy the unzipped firmware file to the root directory of the USB drive.
Step Four
Insert the USB drive into the Iiyama display.
Step Five
Start the screen. A message will appear:
"Do not power off the TV during the upgrade. Waiting..."
Step Six
When prompted, remove the USB drive.
2.3 Installing PADS4Iiyama from USB Stick
The PADS4Iiyama.apk is available on the PADS4 Server in:
Alternatively, download the latest version from here (when publicly available).
Installation Steps
Step One
Copy the PADS4Iiyama.apk file onto a USB stick.
Step Two
Insert the USB stick into the Iiyama display.
Step Three
Enter the Android Menu by pressing Home 1 8 6 6.
Step Four
Open Apps and launch the File Manager app.
Step Five
Navigate to mnt → usb_storage
and open PADS4Iiyama.apk.
Step Six
Click Install, then Open.
2.4 Configuring the Device for PADS4Iiyama
Automatic Startup Configuration
Step One
Open PADS4Iiyama and click on System Settings.
Step Two
Select Signage Display → Custom App.
Step Three
Click Select App, choose PADS4Iiyama, and press Save.
Step Four
Enable Force Restart Custom App.
Step Five
Press Back three times until you return to PADS4Iiyama.

4. Troubleshooting
