First-Time Use
Ensure your PADS4 Server (version 2025.1 or later) is fully operational before starting.The minimum PADS4 Server version required is PADS4 Foundation 2025.1
Resetting the Device
If the device has been used before, perform a factory reset to clear storage and avoid software conflicts.- Open the **Settings **
- Select **System → Reset **options
- Select Erase all data (Fatory reset)
- **Confirm **Erase all data
Installing the PADS4 IIyama Viewer
Download PADS4IiyamaTouch.apk from your PADS4 Server athttp(s)://[server]/[domain]/Apps
Replace [server] with IP/hostname and [domain] with your PADS4 domain, default: PADS4.
Alternatively, get the latest from here, but copy it to the Server’s Apps directory to ensure the device installs the matching version upon connection
- Copy PADS4IiyamaTouch.apk to a USB stick.
- Insert USB stick into the device.
- OpenFile Manager .
- Navigate to USB stick and tap PADS4IiyamaTouch.apk.
- If blocked (“install from unknown sources not allowed”), tap Settings in the popup > enable “Allow from this source” for File Manager > go back.
- Tap to install, then open PADS4 IIyama Touch app
Connecting to the PADS4 Server
After installation, the PADS4 Viewer must be connected to the PADS4 Server using a correctly formatted server address. Use the following format for the server URL:http(s)://[server]/[domain]
Replace [server] with IP/hostname and [domain] with your PADS4 domain, default: PADS4.
Connection Steps
- Enter the PADS4 Server Location.
- Specify a Viewer Name. If left blank, the PADS4 Server will generate a unique name
- Click on Start
- Set PADS4 IIyama Touch as the Home app and select Always
