Video/Sound Element
Size properties
These properties define the width and height of an element within a page layout.
Size Options
Option | Description |
---|---|
Automatic | Adjusts the element size based on its content. |
Manual | Sets a fixed width and height for the element. |
Manual Size Adjustments
- Width: Defines the element’s width in pixels.
- Height: Defines the element’s height in pixels.
- Lock Aspect Ratio: Maintains the original proportions while resizing.
Stretching Options
Option | Description |
---|---|
Stretch | Resizes content to fit exactly within the element’s boundaries. |
Uniform | Scales content to fit while maintaining its aspect ratio. |
Note: If the Increase Video Performance option is enabled, stretching is not possible—aspect ratio will always be maintained, and any unfilled areas will appear black.
Additional Remarks
- Snap to Grid: If enabled, the size can be set to values outside the grid.
- Automatic Resizing & Alignment:
- If Automatic is enabled, the size cannot be manually adjusted.
- Resizing behavior depends on alignment settings:
- Right-aligned elements resize to the left.
- Middle-aligned elements resize on both sides.
- Top/Bottom alignments function similarly for vertical resizing.
Optimization Tip
For best performance and quality, maintain the original size of your content whenever possible.
