# Proof of Play logging for PADS4 presentations

> Enable Proof of Play in PADS4 to record when, where, and how long each presentation item played, then export the logs for advertisers and reporting.

Proof of Play lets you record detailed playback information for a presentation. The resulting logs are useful when you need to demonstrate to advertisers, customers, or internal stakeholders that specific content was actually displayed.

## What gets logged

When Proof of Play is enabled, PADS4 records:

* **When** the presentation played, including start and end times.
* **Where** it played, identified by viewer and computer.
* **How long** each page or element was shown.

Logs are written locally and sent to the PADS4 Server for centralized reporting.

## Settings

**Log Presentation Statistics Info**

Turn this option on to enable Proof of Play for the presentation. PADS4 stores the playback details in a log file on the viewer and forwards them to the PADS4 Server.

<Tip>
  Proof of Play can also be enabled per page element. Use presentation-level logging for overall playback evidence and element-level logging when you need granular reporting on individual items.
