# Book a modular room

> Book one part of a divisible room or the whole combined room in PADS4 Workspace, for example a training area or a boardroom with movable partitions.

A modular room is a room that you can combine or separate with movable partitions. Examples are a flexible training area or a boardroom that can be resized. In PADS4 Workspace, you book one of the separate rooms, or the combined larger room.

## Before you begin

Your administrator must set up the modular space. If you cannot find a combined room, ask your administrator. See [Modular spaces](https://docs.pads4.com/modules/workspace/workspace-admin/modular-spaced.md).

## Book a modular room

**1. Find the room**

Search for the room. See [Search for a space](https://docs.pads4.com/modules/workspace/search-for-a-space.md).

**2. Select the room or the combined room**

Select one of the individual rooms, or select the combined room.

**3. Complete the booking**

Select the **+** button, enter the details, and save the booking. See [Book a space](https://docs.pads4.com/modules/workspace/book-a-space.md).
