# Shape properties

These properties define the **type of shape**, its **fill color**, and **background settings**.

## **Shape Settings**

### **Shape Type**

* Select from **predefined shapes** such as **rectangle, square, circle, or other geometric forms**.

### **Fill Color**

* Choose a **fixed color, gradient, texture, or pattern** to fill the shape.
* Can be set to **transparent** to create a **frame effect** over other elements like videos.

### **Background Color**

* Choose a **fixed color, gradient, texture, or pattern** to fill the **background surrounding the shape**.

## **Tips & Remarks**

* **Transparent fill colors** allow you to overlay shapes on other elements while keeping visibility.
* **Background color** applies to the **space around the shape** and can enhance **contrast or layering effects**.
