# Outline properties

These properties define the **outline style** of a shape, including **border visibility, color, and width**.

## **Outline Settings**

### **Show**

* **Enable or disable** the outline (border) around the shape.

### **Outline Color**

* Select an **outline color** using a **fixed color, gradient, texture, or pattern**.

### **Outline Width**

* Set the **thickness of the outline** in pixels.

## **Remarks**

* **Outlines are drawn inside the shape’s boundaries**, meaning they do **not increase the overall size** of the shape but can reduce the **internal area**.
* Using a **gradient or pattern** for the outline can add **visual depth** to the shape.
