# Scroll direction & speed properties

These properties control the **direction** and **speed** of the scrolling text, allowing customization for smooth and dynamic movement.

## **Scroll Direction & Speed**

### **Direction**

Select the desired **scroll direction** from the available options:

* **Left to Right**
* **Right to Left** *(default for ticker-style scrolling)*
* **Top to Bottom**
* **Bottom to Top**
* **No Scroll** *(displays static text without movement)*

### **Speed**

* Adjust the **speed of scrolling** by using the **slider** or manually entering a **value (milliseconds per pixel)**.
* A **lower speed value** results in **faster scrolling**.

## **Remarks**

* **Hardware Performance:** The **smoothness** of scrolling depends on the **PC's hardware and background processes**. Lowering the speed can improve performance, but **perfectly smooth scrolling is not always guaranteed**.
* **Alignment Adjustments:**
  * When **scrolling left to right** or **right to left**, **horizontal alignment is ignored**.
  * When **scrolling top to bottom** or **bottom to top**, **vertical alignment is ignored**.
* **Static Display:** If **No Scroll** is selected, the text remains **stationary** instead of scrolling.
