# Introduction

The **Presentation in Page** element allows you to embed an existing **PADS4 presentation** within another presentation. This feature is useful for **displaying static information** alongside dynamic content.

For example:

* Running an **advertising slideshow** at the top while a **stock ticker** scrolls at the bottom.
* Playing **background music** while another presentation runs.

## **Properties Overview**

| **Alignment**                   | Sets the **horizontal and vertical** alignment of the embedded presentation.          |
| **Alternate Options**           | Determines how the element switches between playlist items.                           |
| **Background Color**            | Sets the background color of the element.                                             |
| **Border**                      | Defines the border properties.                                                        |
| **Data Provider**               | Connects the element to an **external data source** for real-time content.            |
| **Data Source Text Conversion** | Specifies how the element **handles multi-line text**.                                |
| **Default Duration**            | Sets the default duration for items in the playlist.                                  |
| **Flip**                        | Flips the embedded presentation **horizontally or vertically**.                       |
| **Identification**              | Uniquely identifies the element within the page.                                      |
| **Play List**                   | Defines **which presentations** will be displayed by this element.                    |
| **Play List Options**           | Determines **how the presentations in the playlist are played**.                      |
| **Position**                    | Sets the **X and Y coordinates** within the page.                                     |
| **Proof of Play**               | Creates a **log of when and where the element played**.                               |
| **Property Bindings**           | Allows **certain properties to be dynamically updated** from an external data source. |
| **Reflection**                  | Displays the presentation with a **reflection effect**.                               |
| **Rotation**                    | Rotates the element at a specified angle.                                             |
| **Rules**                       | Sets **conditions** for when the presentation appears or disappears.                  |
| **Size**                        | Defines the **width and height** of the element.                                      |
| **Skew**                        | Adjusts the **angle of display**.                                                     |
| **Transparency**                | Controls **how transparent** the element appears.                                     |
| **Visibility**                  | Determines if the element is **visible during playback**.                             |

### **Important Notes**

* The **Presentation in Page** element runs **inside the PADS4 Viewer** but does not load data providers **when editing** in the PADS4 Designer. This ensures better **performance while designing**.
* Embedded presentations **do not interfere** with other page elements and can run **simultaneously**.
* **Multiple embedded presentations** can be used together for **complex layouts**.
