# Introduction

**Picture elements** are used to display **logos, photos, or other graphic files**.\
All **industry-standard image formats** are supported.

Pictures can be shown at their **original size** or **automatically resized** to fit your page design.\
You can apply **various effects** to adjust the appearance or create **smooth transitions** when pictures change.\
Picture elements can also be **connected to external data sources** to dynamically display real-time content.

| **Alignment**                   | Set the **horizontal and vertical alignment** of pictures.      |

| **Blinking**                    | Define a **blinking effect** for your element.                  |
| **Border**                      | Set **border color, width, and style** for your element.        |
| **Brightness/contrast**         | Adjust the **brightness and contrast** of pictures.             |
| **Data provider**               | Connect to a **data source** for real-time content.             |
| **Data source text conversion** | Handle **multi-line text** for linked data sources.             |
| **Default duration**            | Set the **default duration** for playlist items.                |
| **Default transition effect**   | Define a **default transition effect** for incoming content.    |
| **Flip**                        | Flip content **horizontally or vertically**.                    |
| **Identification**              | Set a **unique name** for identifying your element on the page. |
| **Play list**                   | Define the **pictures to be displayed**.                        |
| **Play list options**           | Set how playlist items will be played (e.g., repeat, once).     |
