# TD-1070

This guide describes how to install and configure PADS4 Viewer on Qbic TD‑1070 devices running Android. Use it to perform a step‑by‑step setup of the viewer on supported firmware and Android versions.

## Before you start

* Make sure your PADS4 Server is already installed, licensed, and correctly configured.
* Verify that the TD‑1070 is powered on and connected to the network

## Supported devices

The following Qbic TD‑1070 models are supported:

* TD‑1070 (Android 12)
* TD‑1070 (Android 14)

## Minimum requirements

* PADS4 Server version: 2023.3 or later
* Firmware version: V2.12.2 (Android 12) or V3.14.1 (Android 14)

Ensure that the firmware version on your TD‑1070 matches at least the required version for its Android release before you start the PADS4 Viewer installation.

## Performing a Factory Reset

A factory reset erases all apps, settings, and locally stored data on the TD‑1070.

* Open **Settings** and select **Reset Options**
* Select **Erase all data (Factory Reset)**
* Click on **Erase all data** to confirm the factory reset

**Once completed, the device will restart and display the welcome screen.**

# **Installing PADS4 Viewer**

## Download the installation package

1. Download the latest **PADS4Qbic.apk** installation package from

   [https://github.com/PADS4/PADS4-Viewer-Qbic/releases/latest](https://github.com/PADS4/PADS4-Viewer-Qbic/releases/latest)
2. Copy the APK file to a USB stick
3. Insert the USB stick into the TD-1070 device

## Installing the PADS4 viewer

1. Open **Android Settings** → **Player Settings** on the TD-1070.
2. Enable **Switch to Native Android Mode**.
3. Close Settings to return to the Android Home Screen.
4. Open the **Files** app from the app drawer.
5. Navigate to the **USB Drive**, select **PADS4Qbic.apk**, and tap to open it.
6. When the warning appears, tap **Settings** and enable **Install unknown apps** for the Files app.
7. On the **Install PADS4Qbic** screen, tap **Install**.
8. When installation finishes, tap **Done**.
9. Go back to **Settings** → **Player Settings** and turn **Switch to Native Android Mode** OFF.
10. Tap **Home**.
11. Search for and launch **PADS4Qbic** from the search option.
12. PADS4 Viewer starts—configure the **server address** and **viewer name**.
13. Grant any required **permissions** when prompted.

PADS4 Viewer is now successfully installed on the TD-1070
