# IIyama TW1023ASC

Follow these step-by-step instructions to install and configure PADS4 Viewer on your **IIyama ProLite TW1023ASC** Android touchscreen device.

**Compatible Devices:**

* **TW1023ASC-B2P (A13)**

## **First-Time Use**

Ensure your **PADS4 Server (version 2025.1 or later)** is fully operational before starting.

  The minimum **PADS4 Server version** required is **PADS4 Foundation 2025.1**

When you power on the device for the first time, the Android Home Screen should appear automatically. If it does not, perform a factory reset as described in section “Resetting the Device”

### **Resetting the Device**

If the device has been used before, perform a factory reset to clear storage and avoid software conflicts.

1. Open the \*\*Settings \*\*
2. Select \*\*System → Reset \*\*options
3. Select **Erase all data** (Fatory reset)
4. \*\*Confirm \*\*Erase all data

After resetting the Android Home screen will appear. Continue with Installing the PADS4 Viewer.

## **Installing the PADS4 IIyama Viewer**

Download PADS4IiyamaTouch.apk from your PADS4 Server at `http(s)://[server]/[domain]/Apps`

Replace \[server] with IP/hostname and \[domain] with your PADS4 domain, default: PADS4.

  Alternatively, get the latest from [here](https://github.com/PADS4/PADS4-Viewer-AOpen/releases/download/v1.0/PADS4AOpen.apk), but copy it to the Server's Apps directory to ensure the device installs the matching version upon connection

1. Copy **PADS4IiyamaTouch.apk** to a **USB stick**.
2. Insert USB stick into the device.
3. Open **File Manager** .
4. Navigate to **USB stick** and tap **PADS4IiyamaTouch.apk**.
5. If blocked ("install from unknown sources not allowed"), tap Settings in the popup > enable "Allow from this source" for File Manager > go back.
6. Tap to install, then open PADS4 IIyama Touch app

## Connecting to the PADS4 Server

After installation, the PADS4 Viewer must be connected to the PADS4 Server using a correctly formatted server address.

Use the following format for the server URL:\
`http(s)://[server]/[domain]`

Replace \[server] with IP/hostname and \[domain] with your PADS4 domain, default: PADS4.

### Connection Steps

1. Enter the **PADS4 Server Location**.
2. Specify a **Viewer Name**. If left blank, the PADS4 Server will generate a unique name
3. Click on **Start**
4. Set **PADS4 IIyama Touch** as the **Home app** and select **Always**

Once completed, the **PADS4 Viewer** should connect to the **PADS4 Server**. Additional settings such as **screen orientation** can be configured using **Viewer Settings**
